OnePlus has officially announced the launch date of its upcoming flagship smartphone — the OnePlus 15. The company confirmed that the OnePlus 15 and OnePlus Ace 6 will be unveiled in China on October 17, according to a post shared on its official Weibo account.
OnePlus 15 Announcement: Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Confirmed
As confirmed by OnePlus, the OnePlus 15 will come powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, the latest and most powerful mobile processor from Qualcomm. The device will run ColorOS 16, based on Android 16, ensuring a smooth and upgraded software experience.
The upcoming flagship is teased to feature a 6.7-inch OLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate and 1.5K resolution, delivering sharp visuals and ultra-fluid motion. The handset will also be available in a new Original Dune colourway, offering a premium look and feel.

While the company hasn’t revealed full specifications yet, leaks suggest that the OnePlus 15 could feature:

Alongside the flagship announcement, OnePlus also confirmed the OnePlus Ace 6, which will launch on the same day. The model is already listed on OnePlus’s official China website with a “Coming Soon” tag, while pre-reservations for the OnePlus 15 have gone live.
As per reports, the OnePlus Ace 6 will also come with a 165Hz display, Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, up to 16GB RAM, 1TB storage, and a 7,800mAh battery with 120W fast charging. The phone is expected to remain exclusive to the Chinese market and may feature an ultrasonic fingerprint reader for faster unlocking.
